Turnicum Distillery Tasting Notes

Posted: April 21, 2017 in Gin, Swiss Gin

Turnicum No3 Gin 40%

Tasted: Nov 2016

Nose: Very perfumed and slightly soapy with juniper, tangerine, angelica and cold tea leaves.

Palate: Earthy juniper with berries, dusty spice and hints of cassia bark, liquorice root and sweet citrus.

Finish: Good, crisp, citric finish with lingering juniper and orange.

Conclusion: I can’t say I’m a huge fan of the nose but the palate and finish are quite pleasant.
