Black Fox Spirits Tasting Notes

Posted: April 21, 2017 in Canadian Gin, Gin

Dry Gin Barrel Aged Batch 2

Tasted: Dec 2016

Nose: Seriously intense and sinus clearing with, black pepper, juniper and slightly medicinal camphor. Hints of thyme, basil, sage and oregano. The oak sits quietly in the background.

Palate: Herbal and mentholated with juniper, tart citrus, sage, oregano and thyme. Like the nose the oak is pretty subtle.

Finish: Long and herbal with lingering aniseed, pepper and lemon.

Conclusion: Fabulously balanced and intense.
